Remembering Mou

Sitting here all alone, watching you dance.
I try a new tone to describe you,
But I'm slipping into trance.

Dancing on the high, you're losing grip.
My guitar plays for you Mou,
But soon you'll slip.

We did not want us together
We screamed into our ears
Blind to our inner light
We left our hearts in the dark of night.

And now she's gone, far east she went.
I try to remember her in my guitar,
But that skill is spent.

Standing in emptiness, I'm planning to trip
LSD smiles and Cocaine blushes Mou,
And soon I shall slip.

We did not want us together
We screamed into our ears
Blind to our inner light
We left our heart in the dark of night.

  1. Fascinating sir! The images invoke a lot of that which goes, unspoken. Loved the first three stanzas. Especially, that you used a Bangali name, when most prefer English unrelated caricatures.

    1. And she was there, eight years back and now, just a figment of imagination!
